Welcome to Venue Vault! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, available at venue-vault.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using Venue Vault, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. About Venue Vault
Venue Vault is a venue listing and booking request platform operating in South Africa. We allow hosts to list venues and users to browse and request bookings. No payments for bookings are processed on our platform; all booking/payment arrangements are done directly between hosts and users using the built in messaging system.
2. Membership & Venue Submissions
- Users can purchase membership plans that grant access to submit a limited number of venue listings.
- Memberships have an expiration period based on venue submissions and must be renewed for continued venue listing access.
- Expired memberships result in the removal of venue listings until the membership is renewed.
- Membership fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
3. Venue Listings & Host Responsibilities
- Hosts must provide accurate and truthful information about their venues.
- Venue Vault reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove listings that violate our policies or contain misleading information.
- Hosts are responsible for managing inquiries, bookings, and communications with users.
- Venue Vault does not verify the accuracy of listings or the legitimacy of users.
4. Booking Requests & Communication
- Users can send booking requests for listed venues.
- Hosts may accept or decline requests at their discretion.
- Once a booking request is accepted, both parties can communicate via the built-in chat in the dashboard.
- Venue Vault does not facilitate or guarantee bookings and is not liable for any agreements made between users and hosts.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Post false or misleading venue information.
- Use Venue Vault for unlawful activities or fraud.
- Attempt to process payments through Venue Vault.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Violate any applicable South African laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Venue Vault is not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses resulting from interactions between users and hosts.
- We do not guarantee the availability, safety, or condition of any listed venue.
- Venue Vault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.
7. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Venue Vault after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
By using Venue Vault, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
